Our New Hot Air Balloon's Inaugural Flight
The Columbus Aeronauts fleet have gained a new balloon this year. Our new balloon named Stafford had her Inaugural flight this past Sunday evening 05.19.2024 in Marysville, Ohio. Our new hot air balloon was built by Cameron Balloons US in Ann Arbor, Michigan this past winter and was designed by Russ Jurg, the owner of Columbus Aeronauts. We are looking forward to many many new balloon adventures in this beautiful new Cameron Z-120 hot air balloon.

A New Special Shape Balloon officially takes flight
One of the new balloons that we worked on with our client and with Cameron Balloons in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a about a year with design ideas and construction of the balloon. Neil Armstrong - Apollo 11 - 50th Anniversary Celebration in Wapakoneta, Ohio
Columbus Aeronauts was honored to be invited to take part in the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 and Neil Armstrong becoming the first man on the moon.
